• According to World Health Organization (WHO), every 1 out of 10 people in the world (630 million people) is already infected by HPV.

• An estimated 8 out of 10 women will become infected with HPV before the age of 50.

• Skin contact is enough for its transmission; sexual intercourse is not necessary.

• Condoms do not confer complete protection because HPV is easily transmitted through skin contact.
